Voted among Time magazine’s 100 best English-language novels from 1923 to the present, a perennial bestseller since its release and widely considered the greatest graphic novel of all time, WATCHMEN is a gripping, labyrinthine piece of comic art. The feature film adaptation, directed by Zack Snyder (300), will hit theatres in 2009 from Warner Bros. Pictures and Paramount Pictures.

Watching the Watchmen is a colossal retrospective written by Dave Gibbons and features hundreds of images of previously-unseen sketches, early script pages and a huge wealth of background detail as to how this seminal work came into being.

Dave Gibbons is a British comic book artist whose career has included work on Judge Dredd and other strips in 2000AD, Doctor Who Magazine and a wide range of titles for Marvel, DC and other American comic publishers.
